Thank you for your choosing a Vaughn Audio product! You are very important to us as a customer, and we wish to provide you with unique, personalized service. The way you order your product from us is very different from the typical online e-store method. We like to use the old-fashioned method of personal communication with our customers! To order, please contact us directly by e-mail. Please type "Order" in the subject line, and include the following in your e-mail:

  • Options desired (if any)
  • Your first and last name
  • Your shipping address
  • Your phone number
  • Any questions you might have

For customers outside North America, please include the following info as well:

  • Daytime phone number
  • Daytime e-mail address
  • Your country's AC line voltage

After your initial e-mail contact, we can also discuss your order in depth by telephone if you prefer. We'll be happy to personally guide you through the available options and ask some basic questions pertaining to your system and personal tastes, so that your Vaughn Audio product can be built to best suit your individual needs. We'll follow it up with a personal e-mail to confirm receipt of your order and provide you with an estimated delivery date. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have at any time. We are here to serve you.

Payment Methods

Our default domestic payment methods are check, money order, and PayPal. We do not directly accept credit cards, bank account transfers, or e-checks, but only through PayPal as we feel it offers you the best security and privacy. This, along with our personal ordering method, combines to give you these important advantages:

*For International Orders, all funds must be in U.S. dollars. We accept Canada Post and foreign-originated Western Union money orders, but due to U.S. banking policies they may require over 30 days to clear.

If paying by PayPal, you will be e-mailed a PayPal invoice when construction begins on your product. You do not need to open a PayPal account to pay by credit card. If paying by check or money order, we will notify you a few days before construction is to begin.

Shipping

All shipments are very well packed, in strapped, double-walled shipping boxes with thick, rigid foam liners. All shipping charges are billed to the customer at the shipping carrier's actual rate.

U.S. Shipments:

UPS is our default domestic shipping carrier, but we can also ship via FedEx, DHL, or USPS at your request. All shipments are sent fully insured, as we will not ship otherwise.

International Shipments:

UPS is our default international shipping carrier, but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS. USPS is often much cheaper than other carriers, but also less secure for the following reasons:

  1. USPS shipments are not trackable after they leave the U.S.
  2. Several unknown third-party carriers may handle your package before you receive it
  3. International USPS shipments generally allow only very limited insurance coverage

*Canadian shipments via USPS are fully secure, as USPS hands off directly to Canada Post. However, do note that USPS regulations only allow for $675 insurance on Canadian shipments.

Because of these facts, we can not be held responsible for shipping damage, lost shipments, or any other damages incurred as a result of choosing USPS for overseas shipments. We strongly recommend UPS or FedEx for overseas shipments, because they provide you with many worthy advantages over USPS:

  1. Fully trackable online throughout the entire shipping route
  2. They are the only carrier that will be handling your package
  3. Unlimited insurance coverage allowed
  4. Much faster delivery times
